Are you an experienced Team Leader / Line Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting and developing others to deliver excellent services?
We are looking for a motivated and proactive Team Leader to join our Acute & Diagnostic Administration Services Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in leading administration teams across a range of clinical services, ensuring patients, clinicians and colleagues receive a high-quality, efficient and responsive service.
As a Team Leader, you will provide day-to-day line management and operational support, helping to ensure administration services run smoothly while supporting service improvement, staff development and change initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing and supporting administration teams within Acute & Diagnostic Services
- Co-ordinating workloads, rotas and service cover to maintain high standards of service delivery
- Supporting recruitment, induction, training, supervision and development of staff
- Managing annual leave, sickness absence and workforce planning
- Supporting service redesign and continuous improvement initiatives
- Working closely with senior managers, clinicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Resolving issues, managing competing priorities and responding to operational pressures
- Contributing to the delivery of a modern, patient-focused administration service

What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who has:
- Previous supervisory or line management experience
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a busy administrative environment
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and manage competing demands
- A flexible, solution-focused approach
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office and Teams
- A passion for supporting staff and delivering excellent patient services
Previous NHS experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
