Role Description: Band 5 Occupational Therapist
Are you passionate about rehabilitation and supporting people to maximise their independence, health and wellbeing? We are looking for a motivated and forward-thinking Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the Enhanced Rehabilitation Service within Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering person-centred rehabilitation in people's own homes.
- Support people with a wide range of medical conditions and levels of complexity, helping them recover, achieve meaningful goals and remain as independent as possible.
- Assess occupational performance, identify individual strengths and needs, and plan, deliver and review evidence-based interventions.
- Work collaboratively with individuals, families, carers and partner services, contributing to safe hospital discharge and recovery at home.
- Manage a delegated caseload with support from senior occupational therapist and work closely with physiotherapists, assistant practitioners, support staff and wider health and social care partners.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Hold a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and be registered, or eligible for registration.
- Bring sound clinical reasoning, effective communication and organisational skills, and a commitment to collaborative, person-centred practice.

Working Hours:
- The Enhanced Rehabilitation Service operates 7 days a week, including bank holidays, the successful candidate will be required to be available a minimum of every 6 weeks to support the current rota system.

- Please note all interviews will take place in person at a venue in Edinburgh.
