About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and innovative nurse leader to join NHS Lothian as a Consultant Nurse within the Tissue Viability Service. This senior strategic role will provide expert leadership, clinical consultancy and professional influence to drive excellence in tissue viability practice across acute, community, primary care and social care settings.

As the professional lead for Tissue Viability, you will shape the strategic direction of services across NHS Lothian, working collaboratively with senior nursing leaders, multidisciplinary teams and national stakeholders to improve patient outcomes, enhance clinical practice and support the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care. You will play a key role in service improvement, policy development, education, research and innovation, helping to influence practice both locally and nationally.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated clinical leader with specialist expertise in tissue viability, strong strategic vision and a passion for improving care.
