Role Overview
The post holder will coordinate, administer and facilitate the procedures and processes for serious adverse event management and patient and carer feedback and complaints for REAS services in line with NHS Lothian Health and Safety Policy; Adverse Event Management Policy; and the Complaints Handling Procedure.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, administer and facilitate the procedures and processes for serious adverse event management and patient and carer feedback and complaints for REAS services.
- Report to the REAS Service Business Manager with a matrix management approach to the Chief Nurse/General Managers and Associate Medical Director.
- Support the clinical leadership team in incident investigation, management of Datix reporting, and patient feedback and complaints management.
- Ensure that evidence lessons learned and recommendations are effectively communicated for implementation within the service areas.
- Have direct line management responsibility for the Business Support Officer(s) within the team.
