Job Opportunity
Join a creative project focused on developing high-quality 2D anime-style character animation for an original game and entertainment IP. This role involves bringing to life mature, semi-realistic characters with expressive facial acting, dynamic posing, and cinematic performance. The initial assignment is a paid animation test (5–8 seconds), with the potential for ongoing work on recurring characters and a variety of content types, including social media, music videos, narrative scenes, and game cinematics. You will collaborate remotely with a small creative team, contributing to a unique blend of interactive storytelling, animation, and music-driven experiences.
Deliverables
- Produce a 5–8 second 2D animation test featuring mature anime/manga-inspired characters with semi-realistic proportions
- Create expressive facial acting, strong poses, and clean linework for recurring characters
- Animate scenes for social content, music videos, narrative sequences, and game cinematics
- Ensure consistency in character drawing, including hair and clothing secondary motion
- Deliver polished key animation, clean-up, and in-betweening as required

Requirements
- Proven experience in 2D character animation, preferably in anime or manga-inspired styles
- Strong skills in key animation, clean-up, and in-betweening
- Ability to draw consistent, semi-realistic characters with expressive acting and dynamic poses
- Proficiency in animation software such as Toon Boom Harmony, TVPaint, or equivalent
- Understanding of cinematic character performance and secondary motion (hair, clothing)
- Attention to detail and ability to match established character designs
- Experience working remotely and communicating effectively with creative teams
- Availability for a paid test and potential ongoing assignments
