About Fuse Energy
Fuse Energy is a forward-thinking renewable energy startup on a mission to deliver a terawatt of renewable energy—fast. We combine first-principles thinking with cutting-edge technology to build a radically better energy system.
We raised $170M from top-tier investors, including Multicoin, Balderton, Lakestar, Accel, Creandum, Lowercarbon, Ribbit, Box Group, and strategic angels like Nico Rosberg, Solana Founder, as well as GPs behind Meta, Revolut, Spotify, and Uber.
Fuse builds a fully integrated energy company, spanning project development, power trading, and distributed energy installations—selling directly to consumers to eliminate middlemen, reduce costs, and pass savings to end users.
The Role
2nd Line IT Engineer
We’re looking for a hands-on, technically skilled IT Engineer to ensure Fuse’s applications, infrastructure, and end-user hardware run optimally across offices and remote sites. You’ll own day-to-day technical environments, resolving issues end-to-end—whether it’s Google Workspace, firewall policies, or hardware problems.
This role suits a fast learner, problem-solver comfortable in a high-energy environment with strong ownership of their work—bridging IT, engineering, and end-users to keep operations running smoothly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
