2nd Line Support Engineer
Location: Northampton
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are looking for an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer to join a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP). You will provide 2nd line technical support, troubleshoot IT and network issues, and support Microsoft, cloud and telephony systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve 2nd line support tickets and escalated issues.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and networking problems.
- Support Windows, Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Manage Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and Intune.
- Support networks, Wi-Fi, VoIP and Microsoft Teams.
- Provide occasional onsite support.
- Work with 1st and 3rd line teams to resolve complex issues.
- Participate in a rotating out-of-hours support rota.

Requirements
- Previous 2nd Line Support experience.
- Strong Windows and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and networking.
- Azure, Entra ID, Intune and VoIP experience is desirable.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Relevant IT certifications are an advantage.
