Job Title – 2nd Line Support Engineer

Reporting to – Senior Service Delivery Manager
Location – Corsham, Wiltshire, UK

Job Overview

Main duties will involve:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support within a fast-paced MSP environment, resolving hardware, software, and network issues
  • Support and maintain IT systems within a secure data centre environment
  • Manage and troubleshoot Windows 10 environments, including deployments and user configuration
  • Administer Active Directory, group policies, and user permissions
  • Work closely with infrastructure and project teams on upgrades, rollouts, and client requirements

Key skills, experience, and qualifications

  • Proven experience in a 2nd Line Support or Desktop Support position within an MSP environment
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10 support and administration
  • Good understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, troubleshooting)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

The Successful Applicant

Due to the nature of our client, you will need to pass a background check to BPSS and SC Standard. Applicants that do not meet this requirement cannot be progressed.

This is a fully on-site role, 5 days per week Mon-Fri. A valid UK Driving Licence is essential. Applicants that do not meet this requirement cannot be progressed.
