Role: 2nd Line Engineer

Location: St. Albans
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000

We're partnered with a modern, cloud-focused MSP in St. Albans that's helping businesses transform their IT environments through cutting-edge cloud technologies, infrastructure solutions, and managed services. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of new projects, they're now looking for an ambitious 2nd Line Engineer to join their expanding technical team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who wants to move beyond routine support and build a career around Cloud Infrastructure, Microsoft technologies, and modern IT solutions. You'll be supporting a diverse range of client environments while gaining exposure to technologies that will significantly enhance your technical skillset and future career prospects.

Required Skills:

  • Experience working in a 2nd Line IT Support role
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server & Active Directory
  • Good networking knowledge including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls
  • Experience supporting cloud and infrastructure environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities
  • A passion for cloud technologies and modern IT systems
  • MSP experience is highly desirable but not essential
