About The Role

Due to continued business growth, we are looking for a 3.5 Tonne Parts Delivery Driver to join our Transport team based in Poole.

In this role, you'll provide a reliable next-day delivery service across the South of England, ensuring our customers receive vehicle parts safely and on time. You'll work across one of four rotating delivery routes, providing variety throughout your working week.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and can work independently while representing the business professionally.

Key Responsibilities

As a 3.5 Tonne Parts Delivery Driver, you will:

  • Deliver vehicle parts, engines, and gearboxes safely and efficiently across the South of England.
  • Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
  • Load and unload your vehicle safely, ensuring all items are secure before departure.
  • Report any missing or damaged items before leaving the site.
  • Use our delivery tracking system to update customers with estimated arrival times.
  • Navigate delivery routes using satnav and obtain proof of delivery through our delivery app.
  • Communicate any delivery issues promptly to the Delivery Team Leader.
  • Provide excellent customer service at every delivery.
  • Complete all required paperwork and digital records accurately.
  • Drive safely and professionally while representing the company.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • Average 48 hours per week
  • Start time between 6:00am and 6:30am
  • Typical finish between 4:00pm and 5:30pm
  • No weekend working

You will typically drive 250-300 miles per day, completing up to 15 deliveries across motorways, A roads, country lanes, and local routes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

Essential

  • Full UK Category B driving licence.
  • Experience driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A flexible approach to working hours to meet business needs.

What We Offer

  • Salary of £31,724.16 per annum
  • Performance bonus of £1,560 following successful completion of probation
  • Monday to Friday working
  • No weekend work
