Company Description

Horizon Resourcing is a growing specialist recruitment company providing temporary and permanent staffing solutions across the veterinary, healthcare and social care sectors.

We believe successful recruitment is built on genuine relationships, sector knowledge and a clear understanding of what each client needs. Our approach is consultative, responsive and commercially focused, allowing us to build long-term partnerships rather than simply fill individual vacancies.

Our consultants are supported by a dedicated delivery team that manages candidate sourcing, engagement and pipeline development. This structure enables our consultants to concentrate on building client relationships, developing new business and turning opportunities into successful placements.

Role Description

We are looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Ipswich on a full-time, office-based basis.

This is primarily a client-focused and business-development role. Unlike a traditional 360 recruitment position, you will not be expected to source your own candidates. Our dedicated delivery team is responsible for identifying, engaging and qualifying suitable professionals, giving you more time to focus on clients, vacancies and placements.

Your main responsibility will be to develop relationships with new and existing clients, understand their staffing requirements and secure temporary and permanent recruitment opportunities. You will then work closely with our delivery team to match suitable candidates to those roles and manage the process through to a successful placement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
