V5D transforms CAD and BIM data into 4D animations and visuals that clearly communicate construction methodology and logistics planning. Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a 3D Architectural Visualiser. The role involves translating CAD and BIM data into detailed 3D models and 4D construction animations that accurately represent project sequences and site logistics. Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Building architectural and structural models
  • Setting up scenes
  • Lighting
  • Texturing
  • Rendering high-quality visuals and animations

The 3D Architectural Visualiser will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers to understand construction methodology and ensure visual output aligns with technical requirements and client expectations. The role also includes:

  • Refining visuals based on feedback
  • Meeting project deadlines
  • Maintaining organized asset libraries and project files

Qualifications

  • Strong 3D modeling and visualization skills, including experience with architectural scenes, materials, lighting, and rendering.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard 3D and visualization software (e.g., 3ds Max, Maya, Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar) and relevant render engines (e.g., V-Ray, Corona, Arnold, or similar).
  • Experience working with CAD and BIM data, and familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent for importing and interpreting technical information.
  • Skills in animation for construction sequencing or logistics visualization, including camera animation, object animation, and timeline management.
  • Strong visual storytelling and design sense, with the ability to present complex construction processes clearly and engagingly.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote work environment.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across different regions.
  • Relevant education or training in architecture, visualization, animation, or a related field; prior experience in construction or architectural visualization is an advantage.
