This is a contract-based collaboration offer, you will be working remotely, but we do organize meetings in person at our office in Milan/London/Arlington, Virginia, based on your location.
The 3D modeler we are looking for is responsible for modeling 3D assets mainly for Real Time engines.
- Review and understand project documents, which can include Sketch, 2D digital, and 3D images.
- Create 3D representations of the Model using the software of choice.
- Optimize 3D models for real-time engines, considering Polygon counts, normals (smoothing groups), and mipmap texturing.
- Work with the Design Team to understand end-user requirements and use cases.
- Work closely with Team members to influence decisions on 3D design and modeling based on the needs.
- Expert in one of these 3D software: Blender, Cinema4d, and Maya.
- Besides your 3D application of choice, extensive experience with Substance Painter and Unreal engine is a must.
