Job Description

Following continued successful growth, we are seeking to recruit a 3D CAD Operator who will work for Tom Howley based in our Trafford Park Offices in Manchester.

The Role
- You will be responsible for finalising manufacturing drawings, based on details supplied by surveyors
- Modelling of special parts and production of drawings for suppliers
- Modelling and assembly of pre-manufacturing drawings for client approval
- Designing Lead Light glass panels, based on a set range
- Final sign off, of all documents pre-manufacture
- Working with both sales and survey divisions
A Successful Applicant Will
- Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of 3D CAD software (Solidworks will be advantageous)
- Have a good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
- Have a good level of IT literacy
- Understand basic joinery
- Have a keen eye for details and an understanding of traditional design
- Be able to use initiative and problem solve
- Work to tight deadlines in a fast paced work environment
- Be able to communicate for other departments within the business confidently
