What You'll Be Doing
As the Design Lead, 3D, you will play a pivotal role in creating and delivering imaginative, strategically aligned concepts and designs for live brand experiences. Working collaboratively with the wider creative team, you will lead large-scale creative projects from initial concept through to polished execution across exhibition stands, stage sets, experiential activations, and immersive brand environments where live events meet the built form.
Your role extends beyond personal execution to overlooking and mentoring the work of the 3D design team, ensuring all output maintains the highest standards of quality and brand consistency. The role requires a balance of creative thinking, spatial design expertise, technical know-how, and seasoned confidence to your design decision-making.
A key part of your responsibility will be representing the agency in professional environments. You will be responsible for presenting concepts directly to clients, articulating the strategic thinking behind the creative, and supporting senior leadership on high-stakes pitches and proposals to bring ideas to life that inspire and engage audiences.

As a Design Lead, 3D Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Lead the 3D design team from initial brief and concept development through to design intent detailing, production documentation review, and onsite delivery.
- Translate creative concepts into technically feasible and commercially viable design solutions.
- Take ownership of large scale projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are maintained throughout.
- Collaborate closely with creative and other workstreams to ensure integrated brand experiences.
- Present designs and design rationale confidently to internal stakeholders, partners, and clients.
- Maintain strong attention to detail across visuals, technical drawings, materials, finishes, build methodology, and health & safety considerations.
- Coordinate with production partners, fabricators, and external suppliers to ensure accurate interpretation and execution of design intent.
- Manage and mentor junior and freelance 3D designers, overseeing workload allocation, quality control, and development.
- Deliver excellent client service internally and externally, maintaining clear communication and effective stakeholder management throughout projects.
- Research and apply emerging trends, technologies, materials, and innovations within experiential, architectural, and spatial design.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve creative processes, workflows, and project delivery standards through feedback and learnings.

You Have The Following Skills And Experience
- You can show proven experience in a 3D Design lead role within experiential, events, exhibitions, or live environments.
- You have a strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, technical detailing, and delivery of large-scale experiential projects.
- You understand spatial planning, build methodology, materials, and production processes.
- You can balance creative vision with technical practicality, budget considerations, and operational requirements.
- You understanding of how audiences interact with physical environments and brand experiences.
- Experience coordinating external suppliers, production partners, and freelancers.
- You are a master of Vectorworks and Cinema 4D. Experience with Enscape is advantageous.
- You are AI curious, with an interest how AI can support the creative process.

Other Requirements
- Quiet, suitable home environment for remote work if required, with the ability to attend the office or client sites for collaboration or project delivery.
- Minimum of 25MB download and 2MB upload speed for home broadband capacity to meet Nteractive homeworking business requirements.
- Liking for and ability to undertake international travel thorough the calendar.
