ER Recruitment are excited to be working with our client, an established and rapidly growing Leicester-based business specialising in the design, manufacture, logistics and installation of high-quality point-of-sale and retail display solutions.

Role & Responsibilities Of The 3D Designer

As a 3D Designer, you will join the creative team and play an important role in developing innovative retail displays and point-of-sale solutions for a wide range of exciting brands.

  • Creating 3D concepts, visuals and technical drawings for retail furniture and point-of-sale displays.
  • Developing creative design ideas in response to client briefs.
  • Producing accurate design documentation and visuals to support sales, bids and manufacturing.
  • Working collaboratively with the sales and design teams to help develop ideas that win new business.
  • Supporting the preparation of artwork and print-ready files when required.
  • Developing prototypes and refining designs to ensure they are practical and suitable for manufacture.
  • Working closely with the production team to understand how designs will be brought to life.
  • Reviewing designs and making amendments based on client, production and project requirements.
  • Managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Contributing ideas and creative solutions to help the business continue to grow.

About You As The 3D Designer

  • A few years' experience working in 3D design, product design, retail design, POS or a related environment.
  • Experience using 3D/CAD design software.
  • Strong visualisation and technical drawing skills.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and/or InDesign.
  • An understanding of how designs translate into physical products and manufacturing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to interpret a brief and turn it into an effective design solution.
  • Good communication skills and the confidence to work collaboratively with sales, design and production teams.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • A creative mindset and willingness to share ideas.
  • A flexible, hands-on approach and a willingness to support the wider team when required.
