3D Developer / Architectural Lead

About Us

COMO is forward thinking creative technology studio founded in early 2020 on a combined 30 plus years of experience that specialise in interactive brand experiences for real estate sales and marketing. We are passionate about improving and enhancing consumer purchasing experiences across various sectors of the industry. Our key areas of focus are in Augmented Reality, Real Time 3D Apps, Interactive Touch Tables & Media Walls and 3D for Web. In 2022 we also launched our sister brand, MagicHatch, which represents our interests in additional sectors outside of real estate. We are based next to Old Street station, London but have a flexible working policy to allow working remotely, although we are studio based.

About You

You are a technically minded 3D-focused developer with a strong eye for detail, accuracy, and R&D.

  • You thrive on solving complex visual and technical challenges, especially those involving architectural models and real-time rendering.
  • You enjoy pushing best-in-class visual quality while maintaining performance across multiple devices and platforms.
  • You are excited to grow your career within a multidisciplinary studio working across property, immersive media, and emerging technologies.
  • You have a strong interest in real-time 3D, demonstrated through commercial work or personal projects.
  • You are organised, collaborative, and comfortable working closely with designers, artists, architects, and developers.

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated developer with strong 3D production capabilities to build interactive applications and real-time experiences, primarily within the property sector and increasingly within creative fields.

  • This role requires deep experience working with architectural assets and 3D pipelines, including interpreting architects’ drawings, preparing Revit/Rhino/SketchUp/3ds Max models, and converting them into optimised real-time scenes.
  • You will be responsible for setting up complete 3D environments—materials, lighting, PBR workflows, scene organisation, and performance optimisation—inside Unity and/or Unreal Engine.
  • You will also prepare assets for WebGL/WebGPU for browser-based 3D experiences.
  • You will collaborate with a team of developers and designers, but also take ownership of individual projects end-to-end.
  • The role spans the full software lifecycle: planning, building, debugging, documenting, and maintaining applications and pipelines.
  • You will work closely with internal designers, external clients, and third-party stakeholders to deliver visually outstanding, technically robust, creatively led systems.
  • You will also contribute to core platform components, 3D pipelines, and tooling across multiple target platforms.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
