Express Recruitment are working in continued partnership with an established specialist construction and manufacturing business based in Ilkeston, who are seeking a 3D Draughtsperson to join their technical team.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience using Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, Revit or a similar 3D/CAD package, together with a good understanding of technical drawings and construction principles. The role will come with training and development available for the right individual.
In return, the successful candidate will receive a salary of £30,000–£40,000, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and the opportunity to develop their technical and BIM skills within a growing business.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within a draughtsperson, CAD Technician or similar technical drawing role
- Experience using Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, Revit or a comparable 3D/CAD package
- Good understanding of technical and construction drawings
- Strong attention to detail and an organised approach to work
- Ability to interpret technical information and make accurate amendments to drawings

Roles & Responsibilities
- Producing accurate 3D models and technical drawings for a range of construction products
- Preparing general arrangement and production drawings from engineer designs and project information
- Creating detailed drawings and supporting documentation for manufacture and installation
- Assisting with reinforcement details, lifting arrangements and material schedules
- Working closely with structural engineers and project managers to resolve design queries
