Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Design Lead, the Spatial and 3D Interior Designer owns the visual, interior, and experiential design environment for SailGP’s premium guest and fan spaces. Operating within the "Blueprint Engine Room," this role focuses on generating high-quality 3D renders, interior spatial plans, and fit-out drawings for spaces such as the Adrenaline Lounge, Vela, VIP viewing areas, and Fan Village activations.
This is a desk-based creative and technical role. You do not manage on-site styling or physical installations. Instead, you synthesise commercial objectives, brand guidelines, and procurement fit-out inventories to create high-impact, photorealistic visual models and exact interior fit-out plans for production teams and suppliers to execute.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
3D Visualisation & Render Generation
- Produce photorealistic 3D models and renders of all key hospitality environments and public zones to support commercial pitching, executive sign-off, and host city previews.
- Develop realistic lighting, material textures, and spatial views that accurately represent the final build environment.
- Maintain a central 3D asset library of standard SailGP furniture, fixtures, bars, and branded architectural elements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
