Pay Comments: Up to £350 per day

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced freelance 3D Artist / Retoucher to support the delivery of visual assets for Gravity projects. You will work closely with the creative and production teams to create polished, technically accurate 3D imagery and high-quality retouched visuals for use across digital, presentation and marketing channels. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role suited to someone who can quickly understand a brief, work confidently from technical reference material and deliver production-ready assets to deadline.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and refine high-quality 3D product visualisations, stills and supporting assets.
- Build, texture, light and render product imagery from CAD files, technical drawings, reference photography or existing 3D models.
- Complete advanced image retouching, compositing, colour correction and clean-up in Photoshop or equivalent software.
- Ensure products, materials, finishes, scale and details are represented accurately and consistently.
- Prepare visuals for different formats, resolutions and delivery channels.
- Work with designers, art directors and project managers to interpret briefs and respond to feedback efficiently.
- Maintain organised, clearly labelled working files and deliverables.
- Flag technical or production risks early and help identify practical solutions.
- Work within agreed timelines, budgets and brand guidelines while maintaining a high standard of craft.

Experience and Skills
- Proven experience as a 3D artist, CGI artist, visualiser, retoucher or in a similar production role.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating product visualisation, photorealistic rendering and/or high-end retouching.
- Confident working with hard-surface objects, technical products or industrial/scientific subject matter.
- Strong understanding of modelling, materials, lighting, camera composition and rendering.
- Advanced Photoshop skills, including compositing, masking, colour grading and image clean-up.
- Experience working from CAD, technical drawings, product photography or supplied 3D assets.
- Ability to produce accurate, detail-focused work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent file management and attention to detail.
- Clear, proactive communication and a collaborative approach.
- Comfortable taking direction while also working independently.

Software
Experience with some or all of the following is desirable:
- Cinema 4D, Blender, 3ds Max or similar 3D software.
- Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Deliverables may include
- 3D product cut-outs and isolated assets.
- Retouched product photography.
- Composited imagery combining 3D renders, photography and graphic elements.
- Cropped, resized and production-ready assets for multiple channels.
- Layered source files and final exports in agreed formats.
