About the Role
My client, a Global FTSE 100 company, is now looking to hire a 3+PQE M&A Lawyer to join their legal team in London (with hybrid working).
Reporting into the General Counsel and working closely with the Business Development team and other Senior Stakeholders across this Global FTSE, your role will include:
- Leading on deals including Global M&A and disposals, including advising on potential deal structures, SPAs and shareholder agreements
- Advising on any Group re-organisations
- Working closely with the Business Development team on M&A strategy
- Drafting and negotiating key commercial contracts including distribution agreements, supply agreements and IT agreements
- Advising on (with, where necessary, support of external counsel) wider day-to-day legal queries relating to such matters as IP, litigation and employment.

The ideal candidate will likely have c. 3+PQE M&A lawyer and currently be working in a leading UK, US, or regional law firm looking to make their first move in-house into the M&A team of a Global FTSE 100 or you will already be in-house working for a global organisation in a similar role.
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a business-facing role with a focus on M&A but also with the opportunity to gain invaluable experience advising the business on general commercial contracts and wider legal matters. No prior experience of advising on commercial contracts is required, just an appetite to gain experience in this area.
