The role is responsible for the management and resolution of complex 3rd Line Desktop incidents, working closely with end users and wider Digital teams to deliver a modern, secure, and reliable end-user computing service. The postholder will support the deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of Windows desktop and server technologies, ensuring devices and services align with Evergreen standards and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Resolve complex and high-priority 3rd Line Desktop incidents.
- Manage and support modern desktop environments using Intune, Autopilot, SCCM, WSUS, and Cloud Management.
- Support Windows 11 builds, updates, and endpoint security (Defender, BitLocker).
- Administer desktop and server technologies including GPOs, DHCP, SQL Server, and monitoring tools.
- Ability to work with business stakeholders, suppliers, and technical teams to deliver migration outcomes.
- Experience supporting application and user migration activities with minimal business disruption.
- Knowledge of legacy Microsoft Windows platforms such as 21H2 and modern Windows platforms such as 25H2. Strong skills in the discovery of legacy components with the ability to effectively communicate these requirements and collaborate on modern alternatives is essential to the role.
