3rd Line Engineer – MSP

3 Month Contract
Remote – UK Based
Up to £350 per day – Outside IR35

We’re looking for an experienced 3rd Line Engineer to join an established Managed Service Provider on an initial 3-month contract.

This is a hands-on support role working across a varied Microsoft customer base. You’ll need strong 3rd line technical capability, but also be comfortable picking up tickets across 1st, 2nd and 3rd line where required.

Previous experience working at 3rd line level within an MSP is essential. You’ll be working across multiple customer environments, so you’ll need to be comfortable managing competing priorities and troubleshooting issues without relying on escalation.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing technical support across 1st, 2nd and 3rd line tickets
  • Taking ownership of complex infrastructure and Microsoft-related incidents
  • Troubleshooting issues across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
  • Supporting Entra ID, Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Managing Microsoft Intune and endpoint environments
  • Supporting Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams
  • Troubleshooting Windows Server and virtualised infrastructure
  • Working across multiple customer environments simultaneously
  • Escalating to vendors where required and managing issues through to resolution
  • Supporting other engineers with more complex technical issues
  • Maintaining clear technical documentation and ticket updates

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
