The Role

We are looking for an experienced 3rd Line Engineer to join our IT team to manage and support the technical infrastructure, including networks, servers, desktops, telephony and office equipment.

The role will be responsible for ensuring availability and adherence to security standards and provide support to internal and external customers, meeting agreed service levels.

The successful candidate will provide infrastructure services, enable innovation and leverage IT trends that can create business value. They will ensure effective provision, support and maintenance of all IT hardware and 3rd party software.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Significant relevant experience in user/desktop/server/infrastructure support.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of working with the relevant technologies:
    • Virtualisation of Server environments.
    • Windows Servers/Desktop operating systems.
    • Active Directory and Group Policy
    • Networking (Routers, Switches and Firewalls), VLANs and IP Routing.
    • Cloud based Office 365 email
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • A passion for technology and a desire to keep up with the latest developments.
  • Ability to perform out of hours maintenance as required.
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK as we do not hold a sponsorship licence.

Salary

Competitive Salary, Commensurate With Skills And Experience

Hours & Location

Full time 37.5 hrs per week Monday-Friday

Fully office based in Norwich, no remote/hybrid options
