Solutions Engineer: Infrastructure and 3rd Line

London Hybrid Working Managed IT Services

Our client is a fast-growing Managed IT Services Provider specialising in the creative industry, supporting more than 5,000 users across 100+ businesses from its London base.

With a strong reputation for quality, technical expertise, and exceptional client service, the business is continuing to grow and is looking for an experienced Solutions Engineer to join its engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior infrastructure professional who enjoys getting hands-on with complex technical environments while also taking a lead role in projects, client relationships, and technical mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 3rd-line technical support and troubleshoot complex issues across server, networking, virtualisation, cloud, and security environments.
  • Act as a senior escalation point and technical leader within the engineering team.
  • Lead infrastructure projects from initial planning through to implementation and completion.
  • Deliver projects including server migrations, virtualisation deployments, Microsoft Azure solutions, and network upgrades.
  • Design and implement infrastructure security solutions, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and cloud security.

Technical Requirements

You will ideally have strong hands-on experience across the following:

  • Microsoft Infrastructure
  • Virtualisation and Cloud
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery
  • Networking and Security
  • Storage
  • Endpoint Security

You'll also need a proven ability to plan and deliver complex infrastructure projects, including server migrations, cloud deployments, and network upgrades.
