Role Description
This is a freelance contract, on-site role for 4 x Summit Stage Managers based in the London Area, United Kingdom.

Stage Managers will oversee the smooth running of summit stages, including coordinating speakers, managing run-of-show, cueing lighting and audio, and ensuring transitions between sessions are seamless. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Liaising with production teams, technicians, and event coordinators
- Maintaining detailed schedules
- Managing backstage areas
- Responding quickly to live-event changes
Stage Managers will support rehearsal setups, verify technical requirements, and uphold eventmark’s standards for guest experience, safety, and professionalism. The role requires clear communication, calm decision-making under pressure, and close collaboration with the wider event team throughout the summit.
Qualifications
- Strong event planning and coordination skills, including experience managing live sessions, run-of-show, and backstage logistics.
- Proficiency in stage lighting and basic technical understanding to collaborate effectively with production and AV teams.
- Knowledge of music and sound cues to support live segments, speaker walk-ons, and performance elements.
- Background or familiarity with performing arts and stagecraft, with the ability to manage talent and on-stage flow.
- Excellent organisation skills, time management, and attention to detail in fast-paced, multi-stage environments.
- Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in corporate or high-profile events; familiarity with heritage or landmark venues is an advantage.
- Ability to remain composed under pressure, make quick decisions, and prioritise safety and guest experience.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required by event schedules.
