4EU+ Roundtable on Career Development Support for Postdocs

Apply by: 20 September 2026

4EU+ Roundtable on Career Development Support for Postdocs

As part of the CHARLESTON project (MSCA COFUND), Charles University is organising the Career Development Support for Postdocs Practices at 4EU+ Partner Universities Roundtable, which will take place online on 30 September 2026, from 9:00 to 13:10 (CEST).

The roundtable will bring together colleagues responsible for postdoctoral support, research support, career development and related areas from across the 4EU+ Alliance to exchange good practices and discuss institutional approaches to supporting postdoctoral researchers. The meeting will also explore opportunities for future collaboration within 4EU+, with the discussions contributing to a report mapping postdoctoral career support practices across the Alliance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
