Specialist Public Community Public Health Nurse
The Wakefield School Nursing Team are inviting you to apply for the Specialist Public Community Public Health Nurse role where you will play a fundamental role in the development of the 5-19 Healthy Child Programme, promoting childhood development, safeguarding children and young people, building community resilience and preventing social exclusion and deprivation, tackling important public health issues.
To plan, deliver and evaluate an efficient and cost effective Specialist Community Public Health Nursing Service for an identified school aged population within a defined geographical locality. To provide line management and leadership within the 5-19 skill mixed team and be proactive in delivering the National and Public Health agendas in response to identified health and social need, to work in partnership with other agencies and meet agreed standards, objectives and statutory requirements.
