On 1st August 2026, The University of Greenwich and the University of Kent formed a pioneering new multi-university group called London and South-East (LASE) University Group.
Should you join us, you will be employed by LASE but will work as part of the University of Greenwich academic division, contributing to its distinct strengths, community, and identity while also being part of a wider group that brings together the scale, resilience, and shared ambition of both universities.
Through LASE, we aim to deliver outstanding education, impactful research, and meaningful regional and global impact.
The School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Greenwich is seeking to appoint three Lecturers in Computing on a permanent basis.
We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who will demonstrate innovation in their teaching. Applicants need to be confident in developing inspiring module materials and learning activities. The role will focus on delivering high-quality education in a variety of formats, including teaching and related responsibilities between April and July. Candidates would enjoy working with large and diverse cohorts of students and encouraging them to fulfil their potential.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
