Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting 7.5t Home delivery drivers for a well known client of ours, based in Basingstoke.
About the Opportunity

Role Description
This role involves working with a Drivers Mate to deliver large goods to residential properties. The type of goods you will be delivering are sofas, beds, flat pack furniture, gym equipment, white goods etc.
Requirements:
- Must be physically fit due to the weight of the products delivered.
- Valid UK License, CPC, and Digitacho.
- No more than 6 points on your driving license.
- No DD, DR, or NI convictions.
- Have your own steel toe cap safety boots and a high vis vest.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver large goods to residential properties.
- Fully trained on 'room of choice' delivery.
- Be reliable and organized.
- Have good communication skills and a good level of customer service.
Selection Process:
- Upon successful application, all new drivers are subject to a driving assessment and multiple choice highway code/tacho exam.
- Followed by an induction day.
- Drug tests can be carried out at anytime at the client's discretion, including at assessment.
Working Conditions:
- The company operates 7 days a week.
- You will be offered a 5 day rota - Monday to Friday.
- Shift timings are 10am start, shifts last roughly 8-9 hours.
- Optional overtime will be available on a Saturday and Sunday, starting at 6am.

Compensation:
- Pay rate - £20.43 per hour inclusive of holiday pay.
- Overtime rate of £22.97 per hour.
