Duties
- Safely operate a 7.5-tonne flatbed truck to deliver goods to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring items are secured properly for transit
- Plan delivery routes effectively to optimize time and fuel efficiency
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any maintenance issues before departure
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, delivery receipts, and inspection reports
- Follow all safety protocols during loading, transit, and unloading processes to ensure a secure working environment

Requirements
- Valid 7.5-tonne (or equivalent) driving license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver, ideally with flatbed truck operation experience
- Knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards for commercial vehicles
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, securing loads, and maneuvering cargo on flatbeds
- Excellent navigation skills with the ability to plan efficient routes
- Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and customers
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including early mornings or late evenings as needed
