Salary: A GBP 27,000.00 per annum
Vacancy Type: Full-time contract, Mon-Fri working. Permanent salary.
At GreensafeIT, we are an IT recycler and supplier of IT services, having overseen more than 3 million devices throughout the IT lifecycle. As a result, we are perfectly placed to provide our customers with expert guidance and advice across this complex and fast-moving market.
We provide a comprehensive range of IT lifecycle services including IT spares and nationwide logistics, datacentre and office relocations, device configuration and builds, bonded stock solutions, on-site engineering support, project management services.
We're looking for a reliable and proactive 7.5T Driver to become a key part of our busy Logistics team at GreensafeIT. This is far more than a driving role - you'll play an important part in keeping our logistics operation moving by supporting warehouse and logistics activities throughout the afternoon, loading vehicles, shunting equipment between our Kidderminster and Droitwich sites, before completing our scheduled evening DPD collection to ensure deliveries leave safely and on time. - Safely operate company 7.5T vehicles in line with UK driving legislation, tachograph regulations, and company policies.
- Transfer IT equipment and other goods between our Kidderminster and Droitwich sites, ensuring all items are transported safely and securely.
- Complete the daily DPD run, delivering palletised electrical and high-security items for dispatch.
- Load and unload vehicles safely, including manual handling and handballing goods where required.
- Support the warehouse and logistics teams with day-to-day operational activities, including stock movement, vehicle loading, and general yard duties.
- Assist with preparing vehicles and equipment for customer deliveries, collections, and on-site projects.
- Transport colleagues safely between company sites at scheduled times when required.
- Complete daily vehicle checks, maintain accurate driving records, and report any defects, incidents, or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Represent GreensafeIT professionally when interacting with colleagues, customers, and third-party partners.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, approximately 12:00pm - 8:00pm (flexibility may be required to meet operational needs).
