Role Description
The A-level Psychology Tutor will deliver engaging, syllabus-focused lessons to A-level students in a remote, online setting. This part-time role involves planning and delivering sessions that cover key psychological theories, research methods, and exam techniques, while supporting students in building confidence and critical thinking skills. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Preparing lesson materials
- Conducting live online tutoring sessions

The tutor will also:
- Monitor student performance
- Communicate regularly with students and, where appropriate, parents or guardians
- Adjust teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs
Collaboration with the wider tutoring team to share resources and best practices is encouraged.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Online Tutoring skills, including familiarity with virtual classroom tools and platforms.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Presentation Skills to explain complex concepts clearly and engage learners.
- Candidates should possess solid subject knowledge in Psychology, with a thorough understanding of A-level curricula and exam requirements.
- Candidates should possess a background in Education, such as tutoring, teaching, or academic mentoring experience.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in or studying towards Psychology or a related field are highly desirable.
- Experience preparing students for A-level exams and knowledge of major UK exam boards is beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are important.
- Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching and the ability to support students from diverse backgrounds is expected.
