Connect to your opportunity
As an A&A Learning Business Partner you will be reporting to the A&A Senior Learning Business Partner. You will be coordinating between the learning needs of the business unit and the learning resources available provided by the centre, regarding leadership, professional and growth skill development. This includes identification of learning needs, advocacy of training requirements, designing and execution an effective communication strategy, analysis of engagement with training, stakeholder management with A&A P&P and Central Learning. The manager role also involves responsibility for the design of some bespoke A&A content and the maintenance of A&A Skills Navigator channels.
Your work will include:
- Support Data, Technology and AI Fluency priorities by supporting the design alignment and communication of Tech and AI learning for A&A. Work closely with AI A&A Learning Lead.
- Identify action areas to achieve strategic priorities and can design effective responses to implement practical delivery plans, milestones, actions and governance.
- Prepare high-quality packs, data and supporting materials for Learning Sponsors, People & Purpose and other senior-stakeholder discussions; track agreed actions and provide timely follow-up.
- Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of specific modules, content, and resources for key learning programmes, including owning certain programmes like Manager Development Programme (MDP), AM Growth Programme and AM3 review exercise, with support of the Learning Business Partner Senior Manager.
- Execute components of the L&T communication strategy, including drafting communications, managing distribution and monitoring engagement.
- Coordinate the A&A learning communications plan, including forward planning, drafting, approvals, distribution-list governance, campaign delivery and monitoring of registration and engagement.
- Support dashboard by testing outputs, validating data and required detail with key stakeholders, and coordinating feedback and actions where required, so dashboard is relevant and useful to make evidenced-based decisions.
- Perform detailed data analysis to support Learning & Talent (L&T) priorities, including tracking engagement in programmes (e.g., People Leader Programme, compliance learning, MDP, DUE, among others).
- Gather feedback and evidence on the effectiveness of learning to inform future priorities, using proportionate methods such as focus groups, stakeholder discussions, programme feedback, talent insight and validation meetings. Deliver results and findings, and prepare clear outputs for stakeholder discussion.
- Plan and coordinate industry learning activity with relevant business stakeholders and subject-matter experts; prepare meeting materials, support programme design and deployment, and consolidate identified needs and results for the wider Learning & Talent team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
