Job Responsibilities
- To ensure that the carcases is dressed and trimmed according to ABP and customer specifications as directed by the Abattoir supervisor.
- To ensure that you work to the best of your ability to meet production details.
- To ensure that the Red and Green Offal's are produced to the customer/company standards with maximum yield and minimum waste.
- To work as part of a team and take responsibility.
- To ensure that current Hygiene and Health & Safety requirements for personal protective equipment are met.
- To carry out all procedures in a correct and safe manner as per training.
- To ensure the maintenance of good hygiene standards.
- To comply with company policy on all matters concerning health & safety.
- To comply with company policy on safe food handling and hygiene at all times.
- To report to the Abattoir supervisor any problems with equipment or machinery.
- To report any person you believe to be in breach of these procedures.
- To identify training and opportunities and bring to the attention of the Abattoir supervisor.
- Any other reasonable duties may be assigned as deemed necessary.
