Abattoir Harvesting Technician
Elevation Recruitment Group's Skilled Shop Floor Division is currently recruiting for an Abattoir Harvesting Technician on behalf of an innovative and rapidly growing medical manufacturer.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation at the forefront of its field, playing a vital role in the manufacture of precision medical implants that have a life-changing and life-saving impact on patients.
Job Title: Abattoir Harvesting Technician
Location:
- Monday to Thursday: Hull
- Friday: Leeds facility
Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 12pm-8pm
Salary:
- £30,096
The Role
Key responsibilities of the Harvesting Technician include:
- Harvesting fresh tissue at an approved abattoir in accordance with approved work instructions and site processes.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and secure working environment at both the abattoir and company facility.
- Supporting and contributing ideas for research and development activities to improve harvesting processes.
- Following best practices for material handling to ensure the safe movement and storage of materials.
- Accurately completing production records and supporting documentation in line with Good Documentation Practice (GDP) requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with all quality, health and safety, and regulatory standards.

What We're Looking For
To be successful in this Harvesting Technician position, you will have:
- Previous experience working within a meat processing, abattoir, food production, or similar environment.
- The ability to work independently and confidently at off-site locations.
- A valid UK driving licence.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
- A proactive and reliable approach to work.
