Role Description

The ABA/VB Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in London. This role involves conducting functional and skills assessments, developing individualized ABA and Verbal Behavior programs, and overseeing their implementation in home, school, and clinic settings. The consultant provides direct support to clients, models interventions, and offers ongoing coaching and supervision to behavior technicians, educators, and families. Day-to-day tasks include data collection and analysis, updating treatment plans, preparing progress reports, and participating in multidisciplinary meetings. The consultant also contributes to staff training, supports quality assurance initiatives, and ensures services align with ethical and professional standards.

  • Formal training and experience in ABA and Verbal Behavior, including conducting assessments and designing behavior intervention plans.
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and progress monitoring to guide clinical decision-making.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to train, coach, and supervise behavior technicians and other support staff in ABA/VB methodologies.
  • Relevant certification or eligibility (e.g., BCBA or equivalent credential) and adherence to professional ethical guidelines.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience working with autistic individuals or those with developmental needs in educational or clinical environments.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle caseloads, documentation, and reporting requirements.
  • Willingness to work on-site across London settings and participate in ongoing professional development.
