Contract Type
Full time – 40 hours per week.
Working two possible shifts:
Monday – Friday (0745 - 1615 / 0930 - 1800) or one shift Sat-Sun (08:00 – 16:30).

Job Purpose
This role is about delivering exceptional service to Stagecoach customers at the Aberdeen Bus Station who are looking to use Stagecoach or Megabus/Citylink services to travel locally or further afield. You will ensure you are available and visible on the stance to deal with all customer travel queries face-to-face on the stance.

Principal Accountabilities

  • You’ll put the customer at the heart of everything you do and treat every single customer as you would expect a member of your own family to be treated.
  • You’ll be expected to provide exceptional customer service by fully engaging with every customer who requires assistance.
  • Listen to our customer’s travel needs and provide them with the right information to get them where they need to be, when they need to be there.
  • Encourage customers to download the Stagecoach app and show them how to use it to purchase tickets for Stagecoach or Megabus/Citylink services.
  • Advise on the most cost effective and efficient way to travel on Stagecoach or Megabus/Citylink services.

What we need from you:

  • Comfortable dealing with customers face-to-face and using our Tanoy system to make passenger announcements.
  • Ability to keep a cool head to deal with unhappy customers who are not satisfied with the service we have provided.
  • Good at developing and maintaining good working relationships with members of our team.
