We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced and motivated Aberdeen Depot Manager to oversee operations across our Aberdeen and Nairn Depots.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to take on a senior leadership position, driving operational excellence, developing high performing teams, and ensuring the delivery of outstanding customer service across multiple locations. Your contribution will play a key role in supporting business growth, operational efficiency, and the continued success of Jarvie Plant.

How This Role Supports The Delivery Of Hire Solutions

Our Depot Managers play a vital role in ensuring our depots operate safely, efficiently, and profitably. By leading teams, driving performance, and implementing improvements, this role helps deliver the high quality service and dependable hire solutions our customers expect from Jarvie Plant.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Leading and developing depot teams across Aberdeen and Nairn, driving engagement, accountability, and high performance.
  • Overseeing all depot operations, ensuring efficiency, cost control, and compliance with company standards and procedures.
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring service delivery consistently meets expectations.
  • Monitoring operational and financial performance, identifying opportunities to improve productivity and profitability.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Promoting and embedding Jarvie Plant's values and safety culture across both depot locations.
  • Supporting succession planning, talent development, and employee growth within the region.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to deliver regional and company objectives.

What Makes You a Good Fit For This Role

  • Previous leadership or management experience within plant hire, construction, logistics, engineering, or a related operational environment.
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams across multiple locations.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities to improve operational performance and profitability.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

  • Experience managing budgets, resources, and operational KPIs.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities across different sites.
