The Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy Air Conditioning division in the City of London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong manager who can lead a team of engineers, oversee maintenance operations, and build lasting client relationships while ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Air Conditioning division.
  • Lead, support, and develop a team of Air Conditioning Engineers.
  • Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and small project works.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the main point of contact.
  • Plan engineer workloads and manage resources effectively.
  • Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in line with contractual requirements.
  • Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to engineers when required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing Air Conditioning Engineers or Air Conditioning contracts.
  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial air conditioning systems, including VRV/VRF, split systems, AHUs, and FCUs.
  • Valid F-Gas Category 1 Certification.
  • Previous experience within Facilities Management or building services.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong communication and client-facing experience.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
