AC Supervisor / Future AC Division Lead
Up to £65,000 + Package + Career Progression
Are you an experienced Senior Air Conditioning Engineer or Supervisor looking for something more than the next service role? Do you want to remain hands-on whilst building towards running your own division within an established and growing business?
We are working with an organisation who is looking to appoint an ambitious and commercially minded AC Supervisor to play a key role in the development and future growth of their Air Conditioning division. This is a genuinely unique opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys being on the tools but also wants exposure to leadership, project delivery and commercial responsibility, with a clear long-term pathway towards taking ownership of the AC division.
The Role
This is a hands-on working supervisor position, with approximately:
- 80% of your time spent on the tools carrying out maintenance, fault finding, repairs and installations.
- 20% of your time focused on supervisory and commercial responsibilities.
You will be involved across the full lifecycle of AC works including:
- Planned preventative maintenance.
- Reactive repairs and fault finding.
- Installation and replacement projects.
- Small works delivery.
- Surveying and pricing works.
- Managing project delivery and customer expectations.
- Supporting and mentoring engineers as the division grows.
This is not a role where you'll immediately disappear behind a desk. The successful candidate will remain technically involved while gradually taking on greater responsibility for the operational and commercial success of the division.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
