This role operates initially on a remote working arrangement with minimum travel required into one of our UK campuses on rare occasions. Our working model arrangements are a non-contractual benefit so please note that an Arden work location is added to our employment contracts.

About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an Academic Administrator to support the delivery of applicant admissions interview activity across the University at a time of significant growth. The scale and complexity of our academic interview process has expanded considerably, with over 12,000 interviews delivered to date across both on-campus and online formats. Interviews now take place daily online, alongside frequent in-person sessions across our UK campuses.
This is a key operational role that will provide dedicated administrative support to ensure the smooth, efficient, and compliant running of the interview process at an institutional level. You will be responsible for coordinating interview schedules, managing academic staff rotas, and acting as a central point of contact for all academic admissions interview-related activity. The role requires close collaboration with academic teams, Business Development, and wider professional services to manage demand, respond to changes, and maintain a high-quality candidate experience.

You will play an important role in supporting the ongoing delivery and continuous improvement of the interview process, ensuring that systems, communications, and processes remain effective at scale. This includes supporting training coordination, monitoring activity, and helping to maintain consistency and quality across all interview delivery. Please note this is not a student-facing role.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively across teams. Your contribution will be critical in enabling the University to deliver a robust, scalable, and high-quality admissions process, while allowing academic colleagues to focus on their core teaching and leadership responsibilities.
About You:
Essential:
- Experience of working in an administrative role within a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Experience of coordinating high-volume processes such as scheduling, bookings, interviews, or events
- Experience of working with multiple stakeholders and providing clear, professional communication across teams
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and manage workloads effectively
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail when maintaining records, schedules, and administrative data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, use initiative, and adapt quickly to changing priorities or last-minute changes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Outlook, Excel, and Teams) and experience of using shared systems such as SharePoint or similar platforms
Desirable:
- Experience working within a higher education, admissions, or recruitment environment
- Experience supporting interview processes, assessment centres, or large-scale coordination activities
