Would you like to contribute to the future of healthcare through education? Are you passionate about supporting people to learn, develop and make a difference in healthcare? Are you looking for an opportunity to be part of a growing organisation with a clear social purpose and a commitment to transforming healthcare through Integrative Medicine?
The National Centre for Integrative Medicine (NCIM) is a not-for-profit social enterprise working to support the transformation of healthcare to a broader Integrative Medicine model, combining conventional, holistic, functional and lifestyle approaches to improve health and wellbeing.
NCIM Academy is an important part of this work, providing high-quality education and professional development for healthcare professionals. Our programmes include our 2-year master’s Level 7 Diploma in Integrative Healthcare, Single Modules, 1-year Diploma in Integrative Healthcare Research, CPD accredited short courses, Foundation and Advanced Training in Medical Homeopathy, Mistletoe Therapy Training, Masterclasses and conferences.
We are looking for an organised, proactive and collaborative Academic Administrator to join our Academy team on a maternity-cover basis. This is an opportunity to play an important role in supporting healthcare professionals throughout their learning journey, working closely with learners, tutors, Module Leads, Academic Co-Directors and the wider NCIM team.
About the role

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
