You've reached a level of excellence—whether in athletics, creative performance, or professional achievement. Now you're ready to channel that drive into meaningful impact. As an Academic Coach at GT Anywhere, you'll mentor students to achieve what seems impossible: develop a genuine passion for learning, accelerate their progress, and mature into capable, independent learners. You'll work remotely from wherever you are in the world.
GT Anywhere operates as a virtual institution for academically gifted students seeking acceleration. We combine AI-driven curriculum delivery with intensive personalized coaching to provide what conventional education systems cannot: unrestricted learning pace, rigorous exploration across STEM and liberal arts, and connection with intellectual peers. In your role as Academic Coach, you'll mentor students in grades 3 through 8 who are eager to advance rapidly. Content instruction isn't your responsibility—our technology manages that. You serve as the motivator who cultivates confidence, maintains high expectations, and guides students toward realizing their potential. Each coaching interaction is significant. Each moment of progress matters.
If you've achieved elite-level performance in any domain—athletics, performing arts, research, or commerce—and want to empower the next generation to do likewise, this position is designed for you.
What You Will Be Doing
- Conducting biweekly individual virtual coaching sessions with each student, concentrating on goal development, motivation strategies, and growth mindset
- Hosting scheduled "office hours" where students access immediate support, guidance, or problem-solving assistance
- Leveraging AI-powered tools and progress dashboards to monitor student advancement, detect obstacles, and refine coaching tactics
- Documenting observations, concerns, and tactical adjustments to keep each student advancing at an accelerated pace
- Working alongside your coaching team to exchange effective practices, flag issues requiring escalation, and continuously refine our coaching methodology

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
