As an Academic Learning Mentor at Thurston Community College, you will join a skilled, friendly, and caring team who work together to provide the best possible personalised support for students. Your main role will be to support individual and small groups of students with a variety of special education needs both within the classroom and one to one.
You will work closely with SENCO to plan and deliver interventions to students with individual needs. We are especially keen to appoint colleagues who may have knowledge of, or a willingness to develop expertise in the areas of Maths or social emotional and mental health support. There are many opportunities within the College not only for training and progression but also to become involved in wider College life.
