Academic Quality Development Manager
Are you passionate about academic quality, curriculum development and enhancing the online learning experience? The College of Legal Practice is seeking an Academic Quality Development Manager to join our Academic Team.
In this varied role, you will lead the continuous improvement of our academic programmes, learning materials and quality systems. Working closely with colleagues across the UK and Australia, you will analyse student and stakeholder feedback, oversee curriculum enhancement, support the development of our Canvas learning environment, and help drive innovation through new technologies and AI.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in higher education quality assurance and programme development who wants to make a meaningful contribution to a growing and ambitious legal education provider.
About You:
- Significant experience of academic quality assurance and curriculum development within higher education.
- Experience developing, implementing and maintaining quality standards and policies for academic programmes.
- Experience leading quality improvement initiatives, ideally within legal education.
- Law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the regulatory framework for solicitor training and legal education.
- Experience developing and enhancing online learning materials and working with Learning Management Systems such as Canvas.
- Experience using student, client or stakeholder feedback to drive quality improvement and enhance learning outcomes.
- Experience using new technologies and AI to improve learner experiences and outcomes.
- Strong project management skills, including experience managing budgets and forecasting.
- Experience developing innovative and agile approaches to teaching, learning and programme enhancement.
- Experience supporting the development and growth of commercially successful educational programmes.
- Confident working with external stakeholders, including universities, professional partners and clients.
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work remotely in a distraction-free environment with a reliable internet connection.

Remote (UK-based)
Hours:
Full time, 35 hours per week
Salary:
£60,000 per annum
