Role Summary
We are seeking an Academic Research Mentor to support a student in developing an independent engineering research project and producing a well-structured article suitable for journal submission. Working within our Academic Writing and Research Programme, the mentor will collaborate with the programme manager and writing coach. Success means helping the student complete a rigorous paper while developing lasting research and academic-writing skills.

Responsibilities
- Help the student define a focused research question and project plan.
- Provide subject-specific guidance on research methods, analysis, and academic sources.
- Coach the student through planning, drafting, and revising their article.
- Provide constructive feedback and support preparation for journal submission.
- Deliver engaging one-to-one online mentoring sessions.

Qualifications
- PhD completed or in progress in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Strong research, academic-writing, and communication skills.
- Academic publication experience is highly desirable.
- Previous teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience is preferred.
- Ability to speak Turkish or Russian is preferred.
