An exciting opportunity for an Academy Coach to join our innovative development centre in Northern Ireland and play a key role during an exciting phase of our Academy's growth.

The Role

We are looking for an Academy Coach on a casual basis to be based from our development centre in Northern Ireland.

Our Academy has for many years been a world leader in its field and is a constantly growing department within our club.

In this exciting position, you will oversee and deliver the training and games programmes for the Under 11 - Under 14 age groups at our Academy and assist with recruitment from the Northern Ireland region.

You will be required to lead sessions 1 night a week. These sessions take place on Saturday evenings across different block patterns.

Who We Are

Beyond that, we are passionate about our local community and, behind the scenes, we have a wide variety of opportunities and career paths for all. We have a very defined purpose: to act for a winning team, culture and community. We achieve this by ensuring we are courageous in the pursuit of progress, we champion our community and each other, and that we do the right thing (even when no one is looking).

Our Commitment to Safeguarding

We are committed to ensuring that our environments for children, young people and adults at risk remain safe and inclusive. We therefore require successful candidates to complete a DBS check and other essential background checks prior to starting their employment. Depending on the responsibilities of the role, a DBS will be either a basic, standard, or enhanced check.

Your day-to-day

  • Manage our equipment - you will be responsible for managing our Academy equipment and you'll ensure that everything is fit for purpose
  • Conduct vital meetings with stakeholders - you'll work closely with the Academy Recruitment Coordinator to conduct mid and full season meetings with players, parents and coaches
  • Support the player recruitment process - you will be entrusted to partner with the Academy Recruitment Coordinator and play a key role in determining our retain and release strategies

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
