The Role
We are looking for an Academy Driver on a casual basis to provide travel support to our Academy players and staff.

We therefore require successful candidates to complete a DBS check and other essential background checks prior to starting their employment. Depending on the responsibilities of the role, a DBS will be either a basic, standard, or enhanced check.
Your day-to-day
- Provide regular player transport - you'll carry out minibus journeys as required to ensure safe and prompt travel for our players
- Support the wider Academy operation - you'll work alongside our Kit team to help with occasional transport of training/match kit and equipment
- Handle ad-hoc travel - you will host minibus travel services for staff as and when required
- Uphold our high standards - you will take responsibility for ensuring our Academy travel equipment is efficiently managed and looked after
- Build positive working relationships - you'll engage and collaborate with players, parents/guardians, and our wider team
- Abide by critical policies - you will keep important policies related to Safeguarding, and Health and Safety always at the forefront of your mind

Please note: You'll be based at Sobha Realty Training Centre, and this role will include evening and weekend work.
What we are looking for
- Hold relevant qualifications - you must hold a valid UK driving licence with an acceptable driving record, a valid Driver CPC, and a full UK PCV driving licence (Category D1 or Category D)
- Experience in a similar role - you are confident with driving in Greater London and surrounding areas
- Safeguarding champion - you have completed the FA Safeguarding accreditation (or willing to undertake)
- Trusted ambassador for our club - you recognise your responsibility as a representative of our club and maintain exceptional standards of professional behaviour towards colleagues, players, and the wider public
- Proud team player - you're able to display the integrity and discretion that's needed to be a trusted team player
Position of Trust: As someone in a position of trust role involving regular, direct contact with children or vulnerable adults, you will be expected to uphold high standards of conduct to prevent abuse, including sexual, physical, or emotional harm. This role requires you to keep updated with both Club and FA Safeguarding training and education.
