The Position

We are looking for an Accelerated Real World Evidence Lead to support the rapid generation of real-world evidence across the UK and Ireland. Working closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Brand Teams, and external partners, you will develop innovative, scalable, and efficient approaches to answering business, clinical, and scientific questions using real-world data.

Location: Bracknell, UK, with a hybrid working model requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Deliver rapid, decision-ready real-world evidence studies to support business priorities across a range of therapy areas.
  • Develop and maintain a suite of reusable study design templates, methodologies, and reporting approaches.
  • Help match evidence needs with different methodologies and design templates.
  • Manage relationships with external data providers and support access to relevant healthcare datasets.
  • Develop and govern standing patient cohorts within secure data environments.
  • Drive innovation through automation and AI/ML - e.g., accelerating cohort identification, code list development, or evidence synthesis.
  • Ensure all activities meet scientific, governance, privacy, and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Degree in epidemiology, statistics, mathematics, biostatistics, computer science, life sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience in Real World Evidence, epidemiology, and healthcare evidence generation, gained across a range of studies and stakeholders.
  • Experience with GUI-based RWD platforms or cohort builders, such as TriNetX, DEXTER, Aetion, or Panalgo, and/or statistical software such as R, SAS, or STATA.
  • Working knowledge of clinical coding systems (e.g., SNOMED CT, ICD-10; OPCS-4 and dm+d desirable).
  • Strong understanding of study design, data governance, and data privacy requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is desirable; candidates from academia, CRO, NHS, or consultancy backgrounds will also be considered.
